10 Best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days PS5 Deals (October 2026 Sale)

If you are shopping a PS5 during Prime Big Deal Days this year, the console to watch is the slim PS5 bundle with Spider-Man 2. It pairs 1TB of built-in storage with a full game voucher, and it carries the strongest owner rating of any console on this list at 4.8 across more than five thousand reviews. Console deals are rarer than game deals during the October event, so the picks below are the ones worth a closer look rather than a blanket browse.

The PS5 Digital Edition suits buyers who never touch physical media, and Resident Evil 4 is a low-cost way to start a PS5 library if you already own hardware. Every offer here changes through the sale, so treat the descriptions as what to look for rather than what is guaranteed.

Our Top 3 Picks for Best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days PS5 Deals (October 2026)

Best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days PS5 Deals Compared

How We Chose

Every pick here was chosen on the specifications that decide a purchase: storage capacity, disc drive support, output resolution, and what the box actually contains. We weighted owner ratings and review volume on Amazon heavily, since a game with hundreds of reviews tells you more than a listing description. Everything was checked on October 2026.

1. PS5 Slim Spider-Man Bundle: Editor’s Choice

This is the bundle to beat for a first PS5, and the storage figure is the reason. One terabyte holds a large library on day one, so nobody has to delete a game to install a patch. Owners single out the slim chassis as quieter and smaller than the launch model.

The bundle voucher matters more than it looks. A full game included with the console means the extra spend over a bare machine is doing real work rather than sitting on a shelf.

• 1TB of built-in SSD storage instead of the 825GB in older models
• DualSense wireless controller, HDMI cable and USB cable in the box
• ASTRO’s PLAYROOM pre-installed, which is a free extra game
• Backwards compatibility with supported PS4 titles

Good to know: the vertical stand is not included in the box, and a small number of owners report the console running hot enough to shut down. Compared with the PS5 Digital Edition, this bundle gives you a disc drive and a game where that listing has neither, which is why it takes the top spot.

2. PS5 Digital Edition: Best Value

Owners who live entirely in the PlayStation Store like how little this machine takes up on a shelf, and the spec sheet is the older 825GB layout rather than the slim model’s 1TB. That is the trade: a lower entry point in exchange for storage you will manage more carefully.

The console outputs HDR, supports 8K, and hits up to 120fps on a 120Hz display, so nothing about the television side is cut down. Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax and Bluetooth 5.1 cover the connection basics.

Skip it if you own physical games or plan to resell anything. The absence of a disc drive is not a minor limitation, and it cannot be fixed later without buying the add-on drive separately.

Compared with the PS5 Slim Spider-Man Bundle, this is the same performance class with a smaller drive and no game voucher. Reviews are positive on setup and condition, with one detailed complaint about a unit that arrived with dead USB ports and a controller that would not charge.

3. Resident Evil 4: Top Rated

A survival horror remake with a 4.8 average across more than 4,700 ratings is about as safe a recommendation as a game gets. Rebuilt on Capcom’s RE Engine, it is a single-player campaign where the combat now rewards parrying and dodging rather than the original’s aiming and footwork.

• RE Engine rebuild with photorealistic 4K visuals
• Parries, grab dodges and precision knife finishes
• Weapons sold and customized at the Weapon Merchant
• Single player, rated Mature

The honest drawback is difficulty. Owners of the original note the remake preserves that intensity, and there is no difficulty setting to soften it.

Where this fits in the sale: if you already own a PS5, this is a low-cost way to start building a library. If you need hardware first, look at the PS5 Slim Spider-Man Bundle rather than buying both on impulse. Resident Evil Requiem is the newer entry in the same series if you want something more recent.

4. The Last of Us Part I: Best for Storytellers

Reviews call this a remake worth buying even for people who finished the original on PS3. It runs at up to 4K and 60fps with near-instant loading, and the Tempest 3D Audio mix is the feature owners mention most often.

Two practical points before you commit. The physical disc means the full game runs without patching or downloads, and because it is Mature rated you should check which languages are printed on the disc itself.

The trade-off is that the underlying mechanics are still a decade-old design. Reviewers who wanted modern traversal and enemy design tend to bounce off it, while story-first players rarely do.

Next to God of War Ragnarok on this list, The Last of Us is the quieter, more linear experience. It also sits better in shorter sessions than Ragnarok’s longer campaign pace.

5. God of War Ragnarok: Best for Action RPG Fans

If Norse mythology is the draw, this is the one to watch during the sale. Kratos and Atreus carry the story, and the axe combat is the part reviewers return to most warmly.

The most common four-star criticism is pacing. Owners mention too many cinematics breaking immersion and a balance that favors fights over open-world wandering, which matters if you bought the previous entry for exploration.

A display note: the game runs at 4K targeting 30fps, or dynamic 4K upscaling at 60fps. Without a compatible 4K television you are not seeing what the art direction intends.

Against The Last of Us Part I, Ragnarok is the longer and louder option with more systems to learn. Against Ghost of Yotei, it is the safer buy since it has been out long enough for patches to land.

6. Ghost of Yotei: Best for New Releases

A revenge story set across northern Japan, explored on foot or horseback, with combat built around a renegade katana and sensei training. Owners who never played Ghost of Tsushima say it stands on its own.

• Levelled dual katanas, odachi and kusarigama
• Sumi-e painting, onsen and shrine side activities
• Difficulty that increases as the duel system advances

The recurring hardware note is worth repeating: base PS5 hardware cannot run it at full potential and 60fps at the same time. If you own a PS5 Pro, this is the kind of title that benefits most from extra headroom.

Because expansion content is still coming out, waiting a while can pay off. Owners buying today should expect to see more added later rather than a finished package.

7. PowerA Twin Charging Dock: Best for Two Players

A two-controller household needs exactly this: a dock that charges both pads at once and holds them off the floor. Owners describe charging as consistent and the setup as genuinely plug-and-play.

It draws power from a wall outlet through the included AC adapter rather than USB, and the charging indicator lights are the detail people notice after a week of use.

Two things to check first: you need a free wall outlet, and the included plug is the North American type. Buying abroad means a different adapter.

The CYKOARMOR stand is the alternative if you want cooling and extra ports in the same unit. This dock is simpler, quieter and officially licensed, which is why it holds a 4.7 across 4,911 ratings.

8. PS5 Disc Edition Renewed: Best for Disc Gamers

The renewed disc model is the only route on this list to a disc drive without buying the console new. The same AMD Zen CPU and RDNA 2 GPU sit inside, with 8K output, 120Hz support and Tempest 3D Audio.

Renewed units come with a 90-day limited warranty rather than a full year, and the box has no printed manual. First-time owners should know account setup runs through the controller rather than a booklet.

The risk is real but narrow. Owners mostly report units that function like new, with one detailed account of a console that froze and would not power on. Check the return window carefully before the event ends.

Against the PS5 Digital Edition, this restores physical game playback and 4K Blu-ray support. Against the PS5 Slim Spider-Man Bundle, you give up the game voucher, the 1TB drive and new-unit assurance.

9. Resident Evil Requiem: Best for Horror Fans

New protagonist Grace Ashcroft, an FBI intelligence analyst, and a camera that switches freely between first and third person. That perspective toggle is the first in the series to allow it.

The Amazon Exclusive edition is the one worth choosing here, and the difference is simple: a two-sided poster in every copy.

Two caveats. The pre-order costume does not include its picture weapon, which has to be earned in-game, and the content is firmly Mature rated.

Against Resident Evil 4 on this list, Requiem is the newer, longer entry with a different protagonist. Buying one during the sale and leaving the other for later is a sensible split for a horror fan with limited budget.

10. CYKOARMOR Charging Stand: Best All-in-One Dock

The most reviewed product in this roundup by a wide margin, at more than 11,000 ratings. It stands the console vertically, cools it with a three-speed fan and charges two DualSense pads wirelessly.

Its own power comes from the console over USB-C, which has two consequences worth knowing. The fan only runs while the PS5 is on or in rest mode, and one of the console’s own USB ports is occupied while it does it.

• Three front USB hubs plus headset and media remote holders
• Wireless charging for two DualSense controllers with LED indicators
• Works across PS5, PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro in disc and digital forms
• Console, controllers, headset and remote are not included

Reviews split on the cooling claim. Some owners say it resolved overheating warnings and cut fan noise; others saw no change at all. If heat is your reason for buying, the PowerA Twin Charging Dock is the quieter choice, and vertical stand owners often just accept the stock layout.

How to Choose PS5 Deals During Prime Big Deal Days

Console Generation and Edition

Decide the edition before you compare anything else, because it cannot be changed later without buying the add-on drive. A disc edition plays physical games and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, up to 100GB per disc, and it lets you resell or lend titles. The PS5 Digital Edition saves space and nothing else.

Prefer the PS5 Slim Spider-Man Bundle if you want storage headroom and a game on day one, and the PS5 Digital Edition if every game you own is already in your library. Look at the renewed disc model only when the 90-day warranty is a trade you accept.

Storage and Game Compatibility

Modern downloads fill a console quickly, so 1TB is the practical floor for anyone with more than a handful of games. Older models ship with an 825GB SSD, and system files take a slice of that before you install anything.

Check whether your existing library is physical or digital before you choose. A digital console cannot play a disc even once, and the add-on drive costs more over time than buying the disc model up front.

Accessories and Setup Needs

Controllers, docks and headsets are where most of the reliable value in a PS5 sale sits, because they discount more often than consoles do. A second DualSense is what two-player households need first.

For charging, the PowerA Twin Charging Dock handles two pads on a wall outlet, while the CYKOARMOR stand adds cooling and three USB ports in a vertical layout. Neither includes the controllers themselves.

Games Worth Adding During the Sale

Game discounts are the bread and butter of the event. Resident Evil 4 carries the highest review volume here, The Last of Us Part I is the strongest story pick, and God of War Ragnarok covers players who want Norse mythology and long campaigns.

Newer entries like Ghost of Yotei and Resident Evil Requiem are worth watching too, but both still have content arriving, so a later sale may carry more for the same title.

How to Shop PS5 Deals During the Sale

Read the model number on every console listing, not just the headline. CFI-2000 identifies the slim generation, and a bundle that says only PS5 may be the older chassis with less storage than you expect. Check what the box includes, since controller and game vouchers are often what separate two otherwise identical listings.

Confirm whether the seller is Amazon or a marketplace partner, and whether the unit is new or renewed. Most offers during the event need a Prime membership, with a free trial counting, and prices move through the two days.

• Match the manufacturer part number to the model you actually want
• List what is in the box, controller and game voucher included or not
• Check the seller and whether the console is new or renewed
• Confirm warranty length before accepting a refurbished unit
• Note the return window, which matters most for renewed hardware
• Have your Prime login ready, since most offers require membership
