Savoy Brown and their founding member, mastermind and guitarist by excellence Kim Simmons are celebrating their 50th birthday of cd releases. Hell yeah a long, long time since their first release “Shake Down”, but Kim is luckily still glorious and full of ideas by his song-writing and – composition. He is open-minded to modern, fresh and vital blues-rockin’ sounds. He is really a protagonist to keep this musical style alive! He always seems to be positively haunted by the magic of witches, sorcerers, the devil and positive voodoo magic of the bayous and swamps of the Mississippi delta region and its dark and mystical characters and their practices. So let yourself be spell bound by his new maestro opus “Witchy Feelin’”!

“Why Did You Hoodoo Me” is the first track; a kick-ass blues-rocker the Texas Style with a buckshot of Southern-Rock. Kim seems really by the time now to enjoy to be the lead-crooner. You immediately get aware that he has well oiled his suffrage. He is by canto stronger than ever. Hell of a enchanting grand opener of the ceremonies! “Livin’ On The Bayou” is a beautiful laid-back blues featuring a countryesque musical flair on top. Kim is to charm by his six-string-sorceries. By the title track “Witchy Feelin” Kim continues the legacy of British and American blues icons that inspired him, additionally featuring a modern play-habitude. His canto is ever so ardent and his guitar-artistry is so sensitive to put a positive spell on you. Kim has created again as maestro a highlight ballad. You will get hooked immediately  by “Guitar Slinger” and fall in love to this rockin’ blues’n rollin’ jam pleasure title and declare it as your new highway hymn. “Standing In The doorway” features mister Simmons as guitar-magus on slide-axe the delta style. By closed eyes you may dream your illusions of a journey to haunted places, plantations, manor houses, towns and their stories,  along the godfather voodoo river, the Mississippi. “Memphis Blues” is the dedication of Savoy Brown to this blues-capital of the U.S. South, its blues-godfathers and famous Beale Street  “Thunder, Lightning & Rain” raises a storm as modern blues-anthem. Kim lets his guitar spread the voodoo magic using wah-wah pedals in a modern, zippy and starry, extravaganza style.  Play It Loud for your and your friends or neighbours pleasure … “Close To Midnight” concludes “Witchy Feelins” the relaxed, beautiful, calm and empathetic magic style for your wellness, felicity and to keep away any evil from any bad and demoniac creatures.
