Hard Rock in the year 2016 is Alive & Kickin’! Grace to relatively young bands by formation like The Dead Daisies! They exist since 2012, but the “Young By Hearts – Dudes” are old hand musicians, haha… Their current line-up is John Corabi on vocals and guitars, David Lowy on guitars, Marco Mendoza on bass, Brian Tichy on drums and since 2015 the Beauty on lead-guitars who makes the ladies “Slippery & Wet” – Doug Aldrich. Off course he proved immediately live by his murderess axe-attacks that he is a phenomenal addition… They have been active in monster groups of Hard Rock like Whitesnake, DIO, Thin Lizzy and Mötley Crüe. So you may call them a supagroup, but The Dead Daisies really convince by their fresh sound and their recording and live-vitality. Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Def Leppard) did a superbe job as producer and sound-mixer. So bring your cd player in rotation by their new and 3rd CD – “Make SomeNoise”.
“Make Some Noise” starts by “Long Way To Go” with infernal grooves by the rhythm aces Marco and Brian”, the guitar solos specially by Doug sets the guitar-freaks utmost in ecstasy. John is by his vocal artistry at his best. Infernal opener. “We All Fall Down” next enchants by the powerful chant of Mister Corabi, escorted by hooky background vocals, specially by MisterMendoza. “Mainline” starts by a big bang on drums by Bryan. Modern Hard Rock with a buckshot of metal. No panic if Gods of Hard Rock like Kiss are bidding farewell… The Dead Daisies will continue the legacy. John roars fantastically to keep the devil away from his soul… “Mine All Mine” proves that TDD are a hotter than hell well-rehearsed, vital jam-band. The power-train keeps groovin’ and rollin’.
